Terms of use, acceptable use and disclaimer
Version 2026-10-19
1. What this service is
The platform is software that lets you create and run an online store. We provide the tool and the hosting only. You own the store and you are the seller; the platform is not a party to any sale between you and your customers.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older and give us true details (name, e-mail, mobile). You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done through your account.
One account per person or business. Opening a new account to get around an earlier stop or ban leads to the new account being banned too.
3. Your responsibility for your store
You alone are responsible for everything in your store: products, pictures, texts, prices and offers, your ownership or licence for them, taxes, trade licences, shipping, returns, customer service and the protection of your customers’ data.
The platform does not review store content before it goes live and does not vouch for it. It is not responsible for any misuse, or any use that breaks the law or these terms, by any customer, nor for any harm that results to you or to others. That responsibility lies with the store owner alone.
4. Prohibited use
You may not use the platform for anything that breaks Egyptian law, the law of your country or of the buyer’s country, or public morals and the values of Arab and Islamic societies. This includes, without limit:
- Drugs, narcotics, and unlicensed medicines or stimulants
- Weapons, ammunition and explosives
- Sexual or indecent content, or prostitution
- Gambling and betting
- Alcohol and pork products
- Counterfeit goods and infringement of intellectual property or trademarks
- Fraud, scams, impersonation, and selling other people’s data or cards
- Hacking, malware and any attack on other people’s systems
- Extremism, terrorism, and incitement to violence or hatred
- Contempt of religion, insults, defamation and breach of privacy
- Money laundering and any unlawful financial activity
- Trafficking in people, organs or protected species, and anything that harms children
These rules apply on top of the laws in force, including Egypt’s Anti-Cyber and Information Technology Crimes Law No. 175 of 2018, Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018, Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and Intellectual Property Law No. 82 of 2002.
5. What we may do if you break the rules
At any time, at its own discretion and without prior notice, the platform may stop the store immediately, delete it permanently with its data and files, or ban its owner and stop him registering again with his e-mail or number. No part of the remaining subscription is refunded in that case.
The platform may report to the competent authorities and hand over the data and records needed, on a legal request or when it considers this necessary.
A store that breaks the rules may stop without you being able to recover its data, so keep your own backup.
6. Reporting a violation
If you see a store on the platform that breaks these terms, tell us through the report page. We review reports and act on them, without any duty to tell the reporter the outcome.
7. Payment and subscription
The subscription is paid in advance for the period of the plan. When it ends the store stops until you renew. Prices may change, but not for a period already paid.
8. Disclaimer and limits
The service is provided “as is” with no promise that it will run without interruption or errors, suit a particular purpose, or bring any sales. We take backups but are not liable for loss of data.
To the extent the law allows, the platform is not liable for lost profit or indirect damage, and in all cases its liability is limited to what you paid the platform in the last 12 months.
You agree to compensate the platform for any claim, loss or fine arising from your store’s content or from your breach of these terms or the law.
9. Data and privacy
Your store customers’ data is your responsibility as its controller; the platform hosts it for you and does not use it for any other purpose. We collect your account details to run the service, bill you and protect the platform, and we do not sell them.
10. Changes and law
We may change these terms; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the change. These terms are governed by Egyptian law and the courts of Cairo decide any dispute.
